The Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album continues to grow in scale and ambition, with its latest release bringing together South African star Tyla and Atlanta rap heavyweight Future on a dynamic new single titled “Game Time.”

Released through SALXCO UAM and Def Jam Recordings, alongside an official music video, the track is already available across major streaming platforms and is being positioned as one of the standout sounds of the upcoming tournament.
Produced by four-time GRAMMY Award winner Cirkut, “Game Time” marks a significant moment for the World Cup soundtrack, introducing hip-hop into the official FIFA album for the first time. The result is a bold fusion of styles combining Tyla’s smooth, vibrant pop-infused vocals with Future’s gritty, commanding rap delivery.
Sonically, the record is built around explosive percussion, cinematic brass elements, and an urgent rhythm designed to reflect the intensity and anticipation that surrounds matchday.
The energy mirrors the buildup before kickoff, capturing the tension, pressure, and excitement of global football at its peak.
The track opens with Future’s striking line, “20 seconds to game time”, immediately setting the tone for a record centred on adrenaline and expectation.
Speaking on the collaboration, Future described the song as a natural fit for the global stage of the tournament:
“The World Cup is a global stage. We made a record to match that energy. Now you know it’s Game Time,” he said.
“I’m excited to bring that energy to the Opening Ceremony in Los Angeles and celebrate this moment with fans from around the world.”
For Tyla, the collaboration carries a deeper personal significance, connecting her journey from South Africa’s 2010 World Cup era to now contributing to a global FIFA soundtrack.
“Being part of the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album feels like a full-circle moment for a girl — from South Africa hosting the World Cup in 2010,” she said.
“I’m so excited to perform at the opening ceremonies. Let’s go Bafana Bafana.”
Tyla and Future are also set to debut “Game Time” live at the star-studded FIFA World Cup 2026 opening ceremony, scheduled to take place at Los Angeles Stadium on Friday, June 12.
With its fusion of global pop and hip-hop energy, “Game Time” stands as a landmark entry in FIFA’s evolving musical identity crafted to match the scale, drama, and unity of the world’s biggest sporting event.
