    The crown gold ring worn by the late American rapper and actor, Tupac Amaru Shakur, was sold for $1 million in a New York auction.

    Tupac wore the ring during his last public appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards in September 1996.

    Tupac’s godmother, Yaasmyn Fula, provided the ring to the auction house, revealing that it was designed for him in New York City after his release from jail and his signing with Death Row Records. The ring bears the inscription “Pac & Dada 1996” on its side and is made of gold, rubies, and diamond crowns.

    The auction house reported that the ring became the most valuable hip-hop artifact ever sold, making it a significant and cherished piece of Tupac’s legacy.

    Tupac was tragically shot dead at the age of 25 on September 13, 1996, in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas. His legacy as a talented and influential artist continues to be celebrated by fans worldwide.
