Tottenham boss Antonio Conte returns to England.
Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte returned to the UK on Wednesday from Italy, where he had a break for gallbladder surgery.
Late in January, Conte developed cholecystitis, a condition in which gallstones inflame the gallbladder and produce excruciating stomach discomfort.
The Spurs boss underwent surgery in Turin to remove his gallbladder last week and remained in the city, where his family continues to be based, to recuperate. He swiftly let his fans know that the procedure was a success when it was completed.
In addition, Conte has maintained contact with his players on his vacation. He spoke to Harry Kane just minutes after the weekend’s triumph against Manchester City, in which Kane broke Jimmy Greaves‘ record to become the club’s all-time leading scorer.

At this moment in time, it remains unclear what kind of role Conte will have in the build-up to the team’s Premier League clash with Leicester on Saturday. But there remains hope that he will be with the squad at the King Power Stadium.
In his absence, assistant coach Cristian Stellini has been in charge.
Spurs have won their past two Premier League games to move within a point of the top four, despite having played one more game than the teams directly above them. This comes after they lost the north London derby to Arsenal and blew a 2-0 halftime lead against Manchester City.
After the match against Leicester, Conte will go back to Italy with his squad for the opening leg of Spurs’ Champions League round of 16 match against AC Milan.
