Tottenham agree surprise Randal Kolo Muani loan deal with Thomas Frank set to add PSG wantaway to fearsome new frontline
Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly struck an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain to sign wantaway forward Randal Kolo Muani on loan, with an option to make the move permanent at the end of the season.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Spurs reached a shock deal with PSG after the French striker was deemed surplus to requirements by manager Luis Enrique. The 25-year-old has been pushing for an exit in search of regular game time.
Kolo Muani, who netted 10 goals in 22 appearances for Juventus during a loan stint in the second half of last season, had also been linked with a return to Italy. However, Juventus failed to convince PSG to sanction another loan move with a €50 million (£43m/$59m) purchase option.
The Frenchman’s arrival adds further firepower to Thomas Frank’s rejuvenated Spurs attack, which already boasts summer signings Mohammed Kudus and Xavi Simons, alongside Richarlison and Dominic Solanke.
Tottenham, who went into the international break reeling from a shock defeat to Bournemouth, will look to bounce back when they face West Ham United on September 13.
