The new song follows Yemi’s second single of the year, “My Man,” which she delivered with Jamaican musician Kranium.
As expected, Yemi once again creates a catchy afrobeat single with excellent guitar rhythms and African shaker sounds.
Jaiye – P-square
Mr. P and Rudeboy the veteran pair P-Square, have reunited to record music and unlock their first after five years apart titled, ‘Jaiye’.
The engaging song “Jaiye (Ihe Geme)” is a blend of the Afrobeat and Amapiano genres. It is a significant record.
The duo wrote and produced the song, and “Jaiye” has a suitable music video to satisfy the sensations.
Alongside the release of their new single, the Nigerian pop stars have also announced one of the biggest world tours of 2022. The duo’s 100-city reunion world tour will see them headlining 100 cities across North America, Europe, the UK, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa.
Kenkele- BNXN ft Wande Coal
Fast rising Afro-fusion star, Buju BNXN makes a return to the music scene with “Kenkele“, he recruits the services of Wande Coal to deliver this melodious song which serves as a follow-up to his previously released singles; ‘For Days‘ and ‘Kilometer Remix‘ (featuring Zinoleesky).
BNXN’s new song “KENKELE” is off from his forthcoming album, ‘Bad Since ’97’.It’s a mid-tempo jam produced by: Sakpase & Stone, Mixed and Mastered by @whereisdro.
5 Star- Adekunle Gold
After serving fans with a well-put-together album, “Catch Me If You Can”, Adekunle Gold follows it up with “5 Star”
This song which is already buzzing on Tik-Tok sees the singer sharing some of the challenges he faced from childhood to now.
Hard to Find- Chike ft Flavour
Off his sophomore album “The Brother’s Keeper”, Chike brings African pop-highlife star Flavour for an anthem that reaffirms that love and the good things of life are indeed “Hard to Find“.
Dennis “DeeYasso” Yasso and Masterkraft both co-produced the song.
Chike and Flavour combine to give us another Afro-highlife song perfect for weddings.
Chike’s sophomore album, “The Brother’s Keeper” will be out in August 2022.
Top Nigerian Songs for the month of July 2022- Like – Iyanya ft Davido, Kizz Daniel
Iyanya makes a major comeback to mainstream music with a collaboration with Davido and Kizz Daniel on ‘Like” and he doesn’t miss.
This new delivery serves as Iyanya’s second output of the year, following his jam, Call featuring Mavin singer, Ayra Starr.
The song talks about their grass to grace story, while the love of their lives stood by them. It has an instant connection, interestingly rendered.

I’m a Mess- Omah Lay

Ijo Laba Laba- Crayon
Crayon, Mavin’s buzzing singer, releases his first single of the year titled “Ijo” (Laba Laba), produced by Sarz, mixed and mastered by Johnny Drille. The song is an Amapiano tune with motivational lyrics.
Crayon is clearly having a good time in 2022, from collaborating with Toby Shang on ‘Excuse Me (Rock You)’ to leading one of the hottest Nigerian songs right now (Overdose).
