    Today we Mp3bullet.ng will be looking at top 5 naija songs from artists from the north that has rocked the Nigerian music space for a long time.

    While the Nigerian music industry is dominated by artists from the South Western region, we also have musical acts from other regions that have been impressive.

    It will be recalled that Mp3bullet.ng had earlier looked at songs from Nigerian artists from the east, so today Mp3bullet.ng will be looking at Top 5 Nigerian songs from artists from the North.

    While the Yoruba region has Majority of the Nigerian most popular musical acts, the Northern region who have a lot of indigenous singers whose songs are not widely accepted, Also have artists that have managed to make an impact and get popular in the Nigerian music scene.

     

    • Jesse Jagz – Nobody Test Me

    On this list is one of the finest rappers that the Nigerian music industry had ever had. Jesse Jagz who used to be signed to Chocolate City now has his own record label named Jagz Nation.

    Famous for murdering any track that he spits bars on Jesse Jagz is originally from Tarab state but grew up in Jos is an artist that deserves to be on this list.

    • Di’jah – Awww

    Another worthy mention on this list is Mavins record artist Di’jah. Famous for her contribution in Mavins record Dorobucci, Di’jah is one of the few northern artists who have managed to make a mark on the Nigerian music industry. Born to a Serrie Leonian father and a Northern Mother it is not out of place to class Di’jah with northern Nigerian artists as she was given birth to in Kaduna state.

    • Ice Prince – Aboki

    A Deserving mention on this list is popular Nigerian rapper Ice Prince. The rapper who hails from Niger used to be together with his Jos Hommies M.I abaga and Jesse Jags back in Chocolate City.  Recently famous for his input in Nasty C global hit Paticula, Ice Prince who has not recently had a major hit to his name has been faring well with hit collaborations.

    • 2baba – Gaga Shuffle

    Another worthy mention on this list is Legendary Nigerian singer 2 Baba. the singer who hails from Benue state one of the states in the Northern region has been in the music scene for a very long time and has managed to stay relevant.  Recently releasing an Album, 2 Baba is an Icon that had managed to rise from grass to grace in the Nigeria music industry.

    • MI Abaga – Chairman

    Topping the list is Nigerian rap lord MI Abaga. MI who is a brother to Jesse Jags also hails from Taraba state. famous for releasing hit tracks, M.I Abaga who recently got into a music feud with fellow rapper Vector is arguably one of the best rappers in Nigeria who is currently rocking the music space with his hit songs.
