Lagbaja is an Afrobeat singer and percussionist popularly known for his signature mask and Saxophone he always plays in his song.

    NEVER FAR AWAY

“Never far away” was the song where Lagbaja proved that the combination of western instruments, Afrobeat, R n B, and using traditional percussion instruments could produce magic.

    NOTHING FOR YOU

Before the rise of New school street bangers, Lagbaja dished out “Nothing for you” and it was so successful with both Old and young people. The chorus “Labgaja nothing for you” became the phrase young ladies would use to turn down their elderly suitors.

    KONKO BELOW

Word on the street is that this song originated the dance move called twerking and it’s true because the chorus, “Konko below, ko below, Konko below” will have ladies bending down their waist.

    ONIGELE SKENTELE

This was a favorite club banger among women of the early 2000s especially matured women whom the song was dedicated to.

    GRA GRA

My personal favorite to sing especially whenever I was fighting with someone. “Gra Gra” was everyone’s favorite.
