Tiwa Savage shared an inspiring message to her fans on her Twitter page, praying for them to have the heart of a child.
Tiwa Savage in a post she made shared that she realized how her son is innocent, loving, honest, and forgiving is and compared that to adults.
She said that as one gets older the world begins to corrupt the innocence and fill us with jealousy, hate, envy, racism, tribalism, and sexism.
Adding that it also puts limitations on us and forces different beliefs and fears despite the fact that we were born great.
She concluded by praying for people to learn how to be children again.
“Just looking at my son and I realize how innocent he is, how kind he is, how loving he is, how honest he is (although sometimes too brutally honest) how forgiving he is because he still cries to sleep in my bed even when I put him on time out, how great he is.
And then I see as we grow older the world teaches us about jealousy, envy, hate, racism, tribalism, sexism, all the ism, the world slowly starts to put limitations on us, forces us to different beliefs and fears, etc when we are born great.
My prayer for all of us tonight is that we all learn how to be children again.”
