    Sensational Nigerian singer Teniola Apkata has taken to her social media page to urge fans not to be scared of saying their truth.

    Teni who seems to be reacting to the D’banj saga that stole the frenzy of the entertainment media space yesterday said that she will always stand with victims of assault no matter who they are.

    The singer further warned that until women are safe the fight and clamour against gender-based violence will continue.

    Taking to her social media page to urge rape victims not to be scared to speak up, Teni wrote:

    I’ll always stand with victims of assault! Always and forever! No matter who are, do not be scared to say your truth. Women deserve better, and until all women are safe, we will continue to fight.
