Sensational Nigerian singer Tekno is under fire for missing an MTV base session which was supposed to take place at 7 pm yesterday on MTV base.
The Pana crooner who was supposed to be on the show with Sammy Walsh by 7 pm explained that he slept off that was why he couldn’t be on the show.
The show was put together to help fans understand the lyrics of their favourite Tekno songs.
Making the announcement of the unavailability of Tekno on the show MTV base wrote:
We are sorry to announce that due to circumstances beyond our control, singer @alhajitekno won’t be joining us tonight on Say What Now with @nonelawalsh as previously announced.
We look forward to hosting Tekno on the show in the future.
In the meantime, we’ll continue serving you premium entertainment and connecting you with your favorite superstars from across the continent. Thank you for your continued support and understanding.
Responding to MTV base tweet, Tekno who apologized for missing the appointment wrote:

However, it seemed like apologies could not save him as Tenko was fired by several fans for missing the show.
