Tiwa seemed to have a thing for Baloguns, as she jumped to music superstar Ayo Balogun, better known as Wizkid, having dumped her previous Balogun ex-husband.

Tiwa and Wizkid have a lot of friendship goals in common and always refer to each other as besties. Their admirers assumed there was more to their friendship because of their intimacy, but Tiwa and Wizzy were unconcerned.

Tiwa even starred as a vixen in one of Wizkid’s musical videos, Fever, in which she bared a large portion of her body while the music stars rocked each other.

The intimacy between the twos stars in the music video drew widespread criticism from fans with many calling her a lot of vulgar words.

This has to be the height of controversies in Tiwa Savage’s life. In 2021, during an interview, Tiwa Savage dropped the bombshell that she was been blackmailed over a s*x tape that got leaked. The singer admitted to being the one on the tape and says she has no regrets.

Tiwa advised her fans to prepare for the backlash that will follow the release of the video, saying she can already see the memes that will ensue. A few days later, the video got leaked to the public attracting many opinions from both netizens and celebrities alike.

However, an unbothered Tiwa spent most of her time pushing her single with Brandy titled “Somebody’s Son” which she had released at that same time.

Nigerian singers and songwriters Tiwatope Savage better known as Tiwa Savage and Deborah Oluwaseyi Joshua professionally known as Seyi Shay seem to have settled their differences.

Recall, Tiwa and Seyi were involved in a fight in a Lagos salon that went viral a few months ago. Seyi had approached Tiwa in the salon to exchange pleasantries, which Tiwa did not appreciate.

The mother of one had not forgotten what Seyi and Victoria Kimani had done to her in the past, according to her. Remember, Seyi and Victoria dissed Tiwa Savage in their covers of Kizz Daniel’s hit song “F**k You” in 2019.

Seyi Shay stated in her lyrics, “You know I’m not Savage, I pay my bills.”

Victoria Kimani, for her part, accused Tiwa of prostitution and barred her from appearing in a show.

However, in a recent post on Tiwa’s Instagram page, she reposted a post made by Seyi Shay about her hit song ‘Somebody’s Son.’

Bella’s sophomore EP, “High Tension 2.0,” was released in July 2021, and featured a combination of his trademark street sound with a resounding conscious message.

Bella Shmurda reported on Instagram today, September 9th, 2021, that the EP had received a stunning 100 million streams across all music platforms, just two months after its release.

In the caption, he wrote;

The singer has been on a rollercoaster this year, from adding two luxurious whips (Benz and Ranger Rover) to his garage and been credited on Wizkid’s “Made In Lagos” deluxe version.

While all of this going on, fans are still waiting on Shmurda to release his debut album, “Hypertension‘ which in an interview in July, the singer revealed was ready.

According to him, the album would feature both Local and International artists like Popcaan, Victoria Kimani and Julian Marley.

Interestingly, the singer was recently reported by Mp3bullet.ng to have been sued by One Word Global Records Limited for copyright infringement.

Shmurda is reported to have a contract with One Word Global Records Limited that will expire in 2022.

According to the Label, the singer has been releasing, publishing, distributing, and promoting songs and videos without its knowledge and authority which is in violation of the contract’s terms.

While his contract with One Word Global Records Limited is still in effect, the singer has gone so far as to announce that he has been signed to another record company, Dangbana Republik.

The singer is also accused of collaborating with other artists without the permission of the record label.

The Label is also claiming ownership of the trademark for the name “Bella Shmurda” as well as the copyright in all musical works and recordings issued under or in connection with the name in the Originating process.
