These are the successful collaborations that prove Omah Lay’s versatility.

The fact that a young emerging artist named Omah Lay appeared on the music scene in the midst of the COVID-19 lockdown will go down in history.

In contrast, our musicians did their best to provide the most engrossing playlist full of songs at the exact moment when hopes for amusement started to wane over the entire planet as a result of the COVID-19 lockdown.

The vocalists we are most familiar with would seem to have the most influence, yet Omah Lay essentially just appeared out of nowhere to capture our attention with his sensation.

Omah Lay would also be considered to have been accepted the instant he emerged, which was unusual because he not only arrived with a sound peculiar to him and nothing like what we’ve always danced to.

One for the books is making a major splash during a pandemic that offers no hope and keeping it going for a whole year.

Omah Lay, also known by his full name Omah Stanley Didia, is a talented musician from Port Harcourt whose life history is remarkably similar to those of several well-known figures who left their home country to pursue a career in music in Lagos.

Even though he still has a long way to go in his musical career, Omah Lay is well on his way to building a strong discography thanks to the two E.P projects he has already released.

As with Burna Boy, another South-South side kin, the calibre of his music reflects his level of acceptance and expectation.

One of the books is making a major splash during a pandemic that offers no hope and keeping it going for a whole year.

His recent award recognition as the Headies Next Rated amongst other award nominations marks him for more feats in the industry.

The ‘Bad Influence’ singer shows himself outstanding by all means given to him even on collaborations, and that’s what we are here to talk about.

Olamide x Omah Lay – Infinity

If there’s anything that makes Omah Lay distinct, it is his mild tempo that still finds its way to pull hard on a song.

How does a person sounds so soft yet kills hit songs, have you thought about that?

Bear in mind that all his songs that are making us trip happen to be really mild tone tracks you wouldn’t imagine had that much effect.

That was the same thing that happened on ‘Infinity’ off ‘Carpe Diem’ album. Olamide himself is a hardcore rapper, all he needed to make the track perfect was the mildness of Omah Lay’s melody.

DJ Tunes x Wizkid x Adekunle Gold x Omah Lay – Pami

Omah Lay rising up to a legendary melody status with Wizkid, Adekunle Gold and DJ Tunes on the track ‘Pami’ is also a marker of growth in his craft and he did not perform less.

Ajebo Hustlers x Omah Lay  – Pronto

This track is the latest reason why Omah Lay has got us dancing. His performance on this collaboration goes on to prepare us for any other dope singer we will spot them together cooking up in the studio.
