Stonebwoy asserts that he introduced the globe to afro-dancehall music.
Ghanaian superstar Livingstone Etse Satekla who is widely known as Stonebwoy has claimed to be the one who introduced afro-dancehall music to the rest of the world.
One of the musical styles that is truly bringing attention to the African continent around the world is afro-dancehall.
Afro-dancehall has been popularized internationally by artists like The Buffalo Souljah, Orezi from Nigeria, Samini, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, and Mzvee from Ghana.
According to Stonebwoy, he alone is responsible for popularizing afro-dancehall.
In a Citi 97.3fm interview with AJ Sarpong, Stonebwoy said: “I’ve performed alongside Shaggy, Bounty killer, Richard Stevens, Alpha Blondy, and more. I’m promoting afro-dancehall… I sold it to the world. Oh, I am”
