Ghanaian Artist, Stonebwoy has explained the rationale behind the controversial tweet he made about the Grammy in the month of March.
In a tweet he shared on the 15th of March, 2021, the singer noted that Nigerians have dominated the music industry on the global scene and urged other African nations to applaud the country.
His statement stemmed from the fact that Wizkid and Burna Boy bagged their first Grammy awards at the 63rd ceremony.
While Praising the Nigerian Music industry for putting in efforts to make sure that they keep holding the mantle for Africa in the entertainment scene globally, He however expressed disappointment over Ghana’s music industry.

This tweet caused controversy with many Ghanaians slamming him for his tweet. In a recent interview with Hip TV, The “Activate” crooner explained he meant no harm as he was only trying to make see people applaud Nigeria for the win.
He said that his tweet is explanatory and that his tweet about the Ghana music industry was taken out of context as he is also part of the industry.
