Controversial Nigerian media personality and musician Speed Darlington has once again stirred conversation after opening up about his views on love and relationships.
The outspoken entertainer made the disclosure while appearing on The Honest Bunch podcast, where he shared that despite his experiences with women over the years, he has never truly been in love.
According to Speed Darlington, he once came close to settling down, revealing that marriage was almost on the table at a certain point in his life. However, the relationship eventually collapsed after his partner discovered his stance on polygamy.
He explained that the woman decided to walk away after realising that he could not commit to being with just one person, a position he says is rooted in his nature.
The singer also revealed that, at the moment, he is not exclusive with anyone, noting that he is currently in the “talking stage” with several women at the same time.
“I’ve never fallen in love, I’m talking to 6 different girls now, you can’t be the only one. I almost got married to one but she left me because I told her I’m polygamous in nature,” he said.
His comments have since sparked mixed reactions online, with some social media users describing his honesty as blunt but refreshing, while others criticised his outlook on commitment and relationships.
