Why I don’t want to have kids – Rapper Speed Darlington (Video)
American-based Nigerian rapper, Speed Darlington, has revealed that he does not want to have kids.
The rapper revealed during his live session that having children is a lot of effort and that he is unprepared for it.
He claims that he is aware of the amount of labour his mother put in to enable him to be a self-sufficient and diligent artist.
In his conclusion, he expressed uncertainty about whether he might ever have children, and his admission sparked online discussion.

In other news, Speed Darlington has taken legal action against the fintech platform Palmpay.
He issued a cease and desist order to Palmpay after they used his image for commercial purposes without obtaining proper authorization.
The incident originated when Palmpay uploaded an advertisement on their official Twitter account, showcasing customers’ moods when funding their accounts using the eWallet service. The advertisement featured a picture of Speed Darlington, which he found objectionable.
Speed Darlington promptly warned Palmpay to either compensate him for the unauthorized use of his image or remove the advertisement. He emphasized that he has worked hard to build his image and wouldn’t tolerate its unauthorized exploitation. However, since his warning didn’t yield the desired outcome and the advert remained on the platform, he decided to escalate the matter by involving his lawyers and filing a legal case against Palmpay.
