Skales reveals he regrets not having baby mamas
Nigerian singer-songwriter Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, better known as Skales, shared some unconventional thoughts on family, relationships, and his decision not to have baby mamas during an interview with media personality VJ Adams.
In a candid conversation, Skales expressed regret over not having multiple baby mamas, a trend common among some of his peers in the music industry.
Skales explained that his sentiment stems from the unique position of being the last surviving member of his bloodline, which has placed pressure on him to produce an heir and continue the family legacy.
“As the only one left in my bloodline, everyone relies on me to have a child and continue our family’s lineage,” he said.
In a lighthearted moment, Skales joked about the situation, saying, “I think I’m receiving applications now,” sparking both surprise and amusement among his fans.
His remarks provide an intriguing glimpse into his personal life, revealing some of the pressures he faces while navigating his career and family expectations.
“Right now, I regret not having baby mamas. I really regret… I’m like the only person in my bloodline that is alive right now”

Recall, On September 4, 2024, Skales addressed accusations of betraying Wizkid after an online user, @aurora94212924, claimed he had befriended Wizkid’s enemies out of spite.
This controversy arose after Skales promoted his upcoming album *Martina’s Son* on X (formerly Twitter).
In his response, Skales explained that, although they worked together during their time at Empire Mates Entertainment (EME), their relationship was strictly professional.
He emphasized that they were not close friends, noting that Wizkid simply does not like him. Skales also made it clear that he had never betrayed the Grammy winner.
