Nigerian Singer, Simi is wondering what the importance of going to school learn something one isn’t going to use in the future.
Simi who isn’t shy of speaking about issues in the country took to her Instagram page to speak on the topic of Education in Nigeria.
According to her, young people go through formal education, and at the end of the day, end up doing something different from what they studied.
She wrote:
“Education system is so shit. Most of us can’t even remember what we were taught in all the many years we spent in school.
People have potential and talent not tapped into because it is not prestigious enough. They spend years learning something they don’t care about. Forget something right after and end up doing something else with their lives. What’s the point then? Who did this to us?”
