    Simi has been thrown into mourning after reports of school students being killed in a tragic accident made the news yesterday, 7th of December, 2021.

    According to the SUN, school children were killed as they were going home from school after closing time and wanted to cross the road when the truck ran over them.

    The driver was reportedly chased to the Ogba area where he was arrested.

    Eye Witness claims that the truck was being pursued by traffic officials, VIO and in the process of trying to escape them, hit the children who were in the process of crossing the road.

    Simi reacting to the terrible news took to Twitter to lament how the terrible system and lack of proper structures in Nigeria facilitate such incidents.

    In her words;

    Tragedy on tragedy. It’s too much. The family of these kids must be devastated. People dying for things that can be 100% avoided. These damn trucks. Driving reckless, without lights, over loaded. But they do it because this dirty system allows them. It’s too much.
