Nigerian singer Shallipopi stirred reactions when he confronted his colleague Omah Lay for allegedly ignoring his direct messages after they had previously connected.

During a recent show, Shalli spotted Omah Lay, and after exchanging pleasantries, he addressed the issue of his ignored messages. He said, “Omah Lay, I don chat you tire.”

In response, Omah Lay reassured him by saying, “No worry, no worry, I go chat you up…”

In a recent social media post, popular Nigerian singer Shallipopi offered some sage advice to his fans who smoke.

Responding to a comment about how he feels since taking a break from smoking, Shallipopi revealed that he is currently on a break himself.

“Shallipopi is a bad influence; he has taught Rema how to smoke,” fellow Nigerian artist Olamide had previously commented, highlighting concerns over Shallipopi’s smoking habits. However, Shallipopi’s latest message indicates a shift in his approach.

“You should take breaks too,” Shallipopi told his fans, encouraging them to step away from smoking periodically. He acknowledged that he is currently on his own break, setting a positive example for his followers.

Shallipopi’s advice comes at a time when awareness of the health risks associated with smoking is increasing.

“No be everytime you go dey smoke Igbo, sometimes take a break. I am on break now”
