Seyi Vibez has officially opened a new chapter with the release of his latest studio album, “SWAGUU,” a 14-track project that sees Burna Boy take on executive producer duties.
The album keeps things relatively tight on features, with just one guest appearance across the project. American rapper Quavo joins Seyi Vibez on the title track, ‘Swaguu,’ creating an international link on the closing record.
SWAGUU gets underway with ‘Volume,’ an energetic introduction that sets the pace for a project largely rooted in the street-pop sound Seyi Vibez has continued to develop.
The tracklist moves through songs such as ‘GTA,’ ‘Diamonds,’ ‘Melanin,’ ‘God,’ ‘Pansa,’ ‘Ilome,’ ‘Alagia,’ ‘El Jaja,’ ‘Alubarika,’ ‘Akpan Akpari,’ and ‘Oble,’ before wrapping up with the Quavo-assisted title track.
The album also carries over some familiar material, with previously released songs ‘Back 2 U’ and ‘GTA’ included in the tracklist. While Back 2 U leans into a more emotional street-pop direction, the inclusion of both records gives the new project a sense of continuity.
There are also moments where Seyi Vibez steps away from the relentless hustle energy. ‘God,’ the fifth track, offers a more reflective pause, while songs such as ‘Alubarika’ return to the themes of ambition, survival, and the realities that have become central to his music.
Burna Boy’s presence behind the project is perhaps one of its biggest talking points. Beyond their musical connection, Burna has served as a mentor figure to Seyi Vibez, with the younger singer previously speaking about advice he received from the Grammy winner, including the need to keep moving forward and avoid showing weakness.
For Seyi Vibez, “SWAGUU” adds another chapter to a run that began with his 2019 debut single ‘Anybody’ and accelerated through projects such as Billion Dollar Baby and Thy Kingdom Come.
Following a steady stream of releases and collaborations throughout 2026, SWAGUU arrives as Seyi Vibez continues to expand the sound and identity that have established him as one of Nigeria’s prominent street-pop voices.
