You’re stupid if you think Tinubu doesn’t know what he’s doing – Seun Kuti

Nigerian Afrobeat singer and activist Seun Kuti has once again ignited public debate with his recent remarks about President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a live session, Kuti defended Tinubu’s leadership, dismissing critics who challenged his decisions.
According to Seun Kuti:
“The politician I can vouch for the closest to me is Bola Ahmed Tinubu. So if any of you think that you are smarter than him, if you think you know more about what is going on in Africa than Tinubu, or you think he’s making mistakes, you are the one who is very stupid.”
He went on to describe Tinubu and other Nigerian politicians as “brilliant strategists”, emphasizing that they possess deep knowledge and experience that many critics lack.
“These men are brilliant. They know a lot and have read more books about Africa. They have involved themselves in life-and-death struggles. Yet, you allow people to convince you to speak against them.
I’m sure they laugh when they see your weak analysis on social media. I’m sure it gives them pride and joy to see you all confused with your weak analysis.”

In other news, Seun Kuti openly criticized female celebrities and feminists in Nigeria for their silence regarding the sexual harassment allegations leveled against Senate President Godswill Akpabio by Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.
Expressing his disappointment, Seun Kuti condemned the lack of solidarity shown towards the senator, particularly from women who had previously championed actress Annie Idibia during her publicized marital struggles with singer 2Baba.
