    COVID-19 frontline workers which include COVID-19 Emergency Response Team, including investigators and sample collectors protested unpaid hazard allowance.

    They claimed that their allowances have not been paid for three months.

    However, the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed claims that N9 billion has been paid as premium for Group Life Insurance to all health workers and over N4.6 billion as Special Hazard Allowance to health workers in at least 35 hospitals.

    Seun Kuti reacting to all this writing that if the monies have been paid as claimed why then was the protest still holding.

    Seun Kuti is one of the few celebrities pushing for the protection and security of health workers on the frontline.
