Wizkid praises Ayra Starr, calls her a superstar.
Nigerian superstar, Wizkid has expressed his views regarding his junior colleague, Ayra Starr.
Apple Music streamed the exclusive live performance of Afrobeats megastar Wizkid on November 14th, and it was nothing short of a spectacular performance from the Grammy-winner.
Wizkid Apple Music Live started at 9 PM on Monday, 14th November with Producer, artist, and DJ Juls opening for him with an impressive hour-long set that delivered classic music across Africa and beyond.
A little over an hour later, Wizkid took the stage to raucous applause from the crowd that had gathered to hear him perform songs from his recent album.
The performance was a nostalgic exploration of his discography as he rolled back the years and gave the audience a performance of some of his classic songs including ‘Soco’, ‘Caro’, ‘Don’t Dull’, ‘Fever’, ‘Ojuelegba’ to mention a few.
Wizkid performed the songs “Bad To Me,” “Money and Love,” and “Balance” from “More Love, Less Ego.” He also invited Ayra Starr to perform their song “2 Sugar” with him.
The viral video of their performance last night has caused a stir in cyberspace. Fans of both talented artists could not help but notice the chemistry between the duo as they performed.

Recall that in the month of September, Ayra gave details of how her studio session with heavyweight singer, Wizkid, went down.
Ayra Starr revealed in an interview with BEAT FM that the studio session she had with Wizkid was the briefest session she had ever had in her career after being questioned about it. She labelled it “crazy.”
