Runtown Pushes Back Soundgod Fest IV Release Date, Announces New Drop for …

Nigerian Afrobeats star and music executive Runtown has officially rescheduled the release of his much-anticipated album, Soundgod Fest IV. Originally slated for June 13, 2025, the project will now arrive on June 27, 2025.
The announcement was made via Runtown’s Instagram page on Monday, June 16, accompanied by a sleek teaser video and the album’s striking cover art. In the caption, the Mad Over You crooner explained that the slight delay is aimed at delivering the best possible version of the album.
“Moved the drop to the 27th of June to make sure it’s absolutely fire for you guys! Meanwhile, hit the presave link in bio. #SoundgodFestIV,” he wrote.
Soundgod Fest IV marks Runtown’s official return to the music spotlight following a short hiatus after his 2022 project, Signs. Ahead of the album, he has already released two singles, “Flow” (December 2024) and “Do Me” (April 2025), both of which have received praise for their smooth delivery and vibrant production.
Adding fuel to the hype, Runtown recently teamed up with Kizz Daniel on the June 5 single Peace I Chose, a track already gaining traction on streaming platforms.
Known for his distinct fusion of Afrobeats, R&B, and reggae influences, Runtown remains a trailblazer in the Nigerian music scene. With Soundgod Fest IV, fans are expecting a project that not only showcases his signature sound but also reinforces his legacy as the Soundgod.
The album is now available for presave via the link in Runtown’s bio. With just days to go, the countdown to one of Afrobeats’ most anticipated comebacks is officially on.
