Nigerian singer Ruger has unveiled an exciting new collaboration with rapper Zlatan, building anticipation for his highly awaited sophomore album, “Blown Boy.”
The announcement came via Ruger’s Instagram story, where he shared a sneak peek of the track, which he described as a standout on the upcoming project.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Ruger couldn’t hide his excitement about Zlatan’s contribution, revealing that he’s replayed the rapper’s verse over a thousand times. This buzz-worthy collaboration is expected to drop ahead of the album’s release, scheduled for March 2025.
“Blown Boy” follows Ruger’s 2024 joint project ‘RnB‘ with BNXN, a partnership that turned their rivalry into a creative collaboration. The new album will also include his recently released singles “Luv Again,” “Make Way,” and “Toma Toma,” which feature the iconic Tiwa Savage.
This project marks Ruger’s second major release since parting ways with Jonzing World in 2023 to establish his label, Blown Boy Imprint, sharing its name with the upcoming album.
