Nigerian singer Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy of Psquare, has broken his silence after being arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Taking to his Instagram story, the singer assured fans that he has been cleared by the agency and emphasized that he is not a thief.

Rudeboy stated, “My source of wealth is solely from making good music, which pays my bills,” without revealing the specifics of his arrest.

This statement comes amid speculation about the EFCC investigating Paul Okoye’s financial dealings, particularly after he gifted his wife a luxurious car worth over N100 million just days ago.

Following his arrest and subsequent clearance, Rudeboy shared an update about his music career, appearing unfazed by the ordeal. His statement underscores his commitment to his craft and his integrity as an artist.

Recall, Rudeboy has voiced his perspective on the primary issue plaguing this generation: self-entitlement.

In a post shared on his Instagram story, the singer highlighted the prevalence of this problem and addressed a specific group of individuals, suggesting they are unprepared because they haven’t experienced adversity.

His message read: “The major problem about this generation is self-entitlement. Omoh!! You all are not ready!!! Hunger will overcome you.”

Through his candid words, Rudeboy draws attention to the pervasive sense of entitlement among many individuals today, implying that genuine readiness requires an understanding of hardship and adversity
