Football icon Cristiano Ronaldo has finally addressed the lingering question about why he has yet to marry his long-term partner, Georgina Rodriguez, despite their nearly decade-long relationship.

The Portuguese superstar first met the Argentine-Spanish model in Madrid while she was working as a sales assistant at a Gucci store.
Since then, the couple has built a family together, raising their two daughters, Alana Martina and Bella, along with Ronaldo’s three other children, who were born via surrogacy.
In the 2022 Netflix docuseries I Am Georgina, Ronaldo reaffirmed his commitment to Rodriguez but emphasized that the timing for marriage has to be right.
“I always tell her, ‘When we get that click.’ Like everything with our life, and she knows what I’m talking about. It could be in a year or it could be in six months or it could be in a month. I am 1000% sure that it will happen,” he stated.
Rodriguez also admitted that marriage is a common topic among her family and friends, who often tease her about when she will finally tie the knot with the football star.
“They’re always joking about the wedding, ‘When is the wedding?'” she shared.
Despite the anticipation from fans and loved ones, it remains uncertain when the couple will take the next step, leaving many to wonder how much longer they will have to wait.
