American rapper Rick Ross has unveiled his list of favorite African artists, placing Nigerian superstar Davido at the top.
While in Cape Town, South Africa, Rick Ross shared a video celebrating several musicians he admires for their exceptional artistry. He referred to them as icons and key figures shaping the music industry.
Among the artists he highlighted were Ghana’s Stonebwoy, Nigeria’s Davido, Psycho YP, Bayanni, Boj, and Wizard Chan, along with South Africa’s Nasty C, Blaqbonez, and Focalistic.
Describing Davido as a “future legend,” Rick Ross praised his significant contributions to the global music scene and called him a “king.”
He also commended Davido’s efforts in promoting unity and growth in Africa’s music landscape, expressing a strong desire to meet him personally.

In addition, Rick Ross is set to release a song with Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez, having shared a snippet of their upcoming collaboration.
The American rapper is committed to creating a focused album, previewing the single on his social media on June 10, 2024, featuring Blaqbonez’s verse.
This collaboration follows Rick Ross‘ announcement of his plans to make an African album featuring various artists from across the continent.
