Real Madrid unveiled its 2023–24 third uniform, which was influenced by previous European victories.
Real Madrid have unveiled their new Adidas third kit for the 2023/24 season, which harkens back to the club’s Champions League victory in 2000.
The black and yellow kit is similar to what Madrid wore in the final versus Valencia in Paris, where goals from Fernando Morientes, Steve McManaman, and Raul handily decided the all-Spanish match. This was the club’s ninth European Cup victory.
“We’ve taken inspiration from Real Madrid’s long-standing place as trendsetters in the game of football, to create something that allows fans and players to stand out,” explained Sam Handy, adidas vice president for design football.
“First and foremost, this is a piece built to support athletes on the biggest stage. However, by designing at the intersection of legacy, identity and expression, this is a jersey built to be as successful for the fans on the street, as it is for the players on pitch.”

Adidas has also said that their commitment to replace virgin polyester with recycled polyester in products wherever possible by the end of 2024 has been met early thanks to replica and on-field versions made entirely of recycled materials.
