Nigerian singer and songwriter Ayoleyi Hanniel Solomon, better known by his stage name Reekado Banks, has unveiled a surprise project titled ‘Off the Record Vol.2’ and, as expected, comments have trailed it.
The former Mavin Records artist chose to release the second instalment of his Off the Record series after the success of his Amapiano-infused tune ‘Ozumba Mbadiwe.’
With gentle beats cocooning Banks’ mild melodies, the project opener “Pulling Up” and the closer “Self Esteem” create and seal the mood.

Reekado Banks is introspective, mindful, and groovy on “Ozumba Mbadiwe.” On “Lupita Nyongo” and “Selection,” the singer adds a vivified touch to Afrobeats rhythms, displaying his tongue-in-cheek lyricism and sensuality.
The 5-track project, which was launched in the early hours of November 12th, 2021, has already received positive feedback on social media from music fans.
