‘You snatched my producer, dancer from me’ – Portable calls out Olamide

Controversial Nigerian singer Portable, known for his outspoken nature, has once again stirred the pot by mocking music executive and rapper Olamide over his alleged fallout with former signee Asake.
Speculations have been rife that Asake parted ways with Olamide’s YBNL label under controversial circumstances, a matter that has captured the attention of fans and the media alike.
Reacting to the rumours, Portable took to social media in a video message where he mocked Olamide for his handling of the situation.
In the video, Portable expressed that, unlike Asake, who allegedly received full support from Olamide, he only got a verse on his hit song ‘Zazu‘ from the rapper.
Despite this, Portable claimed to be more grateful than Asake, who Olamide had allegedly given more attention and resources to.
He further claimed that instead of signing him, Olamide had taken his producer, dancer, and promoter Kogbagidi from him. In his message, Portable said, “Olamide Baddo, if you had asked me to sign to your record label, I would have gladly accepted it. But instead of you to sign me, you snatched my producer, dancer and promoter Kogbagidi from me.”
Portable continued to compare his situation with Asake’s, stating, “The person [Asake] you help no send you again. You only gave me verse and I’m still more grateful than Asake you gave your everything. Promote me the way you promoted Asake and see if I won’t progress more than him.”
This public mockery adds another layer to the already tense relationship between Portable and Olamide, leaving fans to speculate whether the two will ever reconcile or whether this will be a permanent rift in the Nigerian music industry.
