Portable unveils new set of trainees including ‘Zeh Nation’s OdumoduBlvck’

Street-pop sensation Portable is forging ahead with his dream of becoming a label boss, unveiling a fresh lineup of artists under his imprint, Zeh Nation.
Taking to Instagram, Portable introduced his latest signings, including a budding rapper named Young Odumodu, whose real name is Gospel Kanu. The young talent adopted the moniker as a nod to award-winning rapper OdumoduBlvck, drawing inspiration from his music.
A video shared online showcased Young Odumodu delivering rap lines reminiscent of Nigeria’s leading rap stars, sparking reactions across social media.

OdumoduBlvck acknowledged the development, posting “Zeh Nation” on his X (formerly Twitter) account to recognise the young rapper.
This move marks Portable’s latest attempt at artist development, though his past mentorship history has been controversial. His former signee, Young Duu, exited Zeh Nation under bitter circumstances, later accusing Portable of maltreatment.
Portable’s announcement also comes amid his legal troubles with the Ogun State Police, who recently declared him wanted for allegedly assaulting government officials. After turning himself in, he was granted bail and vowed to stay out of trouble.
With his upcoming EP, ‘Ogo Most Wanted’, and a fresh lineup of artists, fans are watching closely to see whether Portable’s focus will shift from controversy to consistency. His latest project, particularly the music from Young Odumodu, is highly anticipated as Zeh Nation expands its roster.
