Portable fires at Cubana Chief Priest over overreaction to Nnamdi Kanu’s prosecution

Controversial street-hop artist Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, widely known as Portable, has taken a swipe at nightlife entrepreneur Cubana Chief Priest following the businessman’s recent letter to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu concerning the sentencing of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu.
Portable, never one to hold back his words, jumped into the comment section of Cubana Chief Priest’s Instagram post, accusing him of speaking up only because of his closeness to the president’s son, Seyi Tinubu.
The singer suggested that the socialite had benefited financially from his ties to the First Family, alleging that the sudden advocacy was driven more by personal interests than genuine concern.
In his characteristically fiery tone, Portable wrote:
“But you forgot to tell him when you snap picture. Who tell you say Tinubu go win? You no fit get power pass government. After God na Government. Odala Igbo man. You dey fight for your pocket, your brother dey prison. You no tell Seyi Tinubu say your brother dey prison after you don collect money chop.”
His comments have since stirred conversations online, with many Nigerians divided over whether Portable’s outburst was justified or simply another episode in his ever-growing list of social media drama.
