Portable has weighed in on the growing online debate sparked by YCee’s criticism of content creator Peller, adding another layer to the conversation that has dominated social media in recent days.

The controversy began after YCee shared his thoughts on what he described as the “Olodo Uprising,” a comment that generated widespread reactions from fans and fellow entertainers.
Responding in a video, Portable questioned YCee’s decision to direct his criticism at Peller, arguing that the rapper should instead focus on rebuilding his career.
According to the street-hop star, YCee never blamed anyone else when his own music career was thriving, making his current remarks seem unnecessary.
Portable suggested that the criticism was driven more by personal frustration than genuine concern, adding that praying for greater success and staying committed to one’s craft would be a better approach than targeting another person’s achievements.
He also defended Peller against comments about his educational background, insisting that formal education should not be used as a yardstick for measuring success. Portable went on to challenge YCee, questioning what his education had translated into in terms of material achievements, including the number of cars he owns.
He further alleged that some public figures deliberately stir controversy on social media as a way of remaining relevant and attracting attention.
He said:
“The time when Ycee was reigning he didn’t blame another man. When life dey sweet you you no blame another man and another man no blame you but now that his life is bitter he’s now blaming Peller. You no fit beg God for grace? Small pikin you dey say because himnno go school na him make am dey do like that. You wey go school wetin you use your money do? How many car you get? Anytime they want to trend they chase clout.”
