Phyno welcomes Alpha P to Penthauze, teases signee’s highly-anticipated Single with Olamide
Nigerian rap icon and music executive Chibuzor Nelson Azubuike, better known as Phyno, has announced the signing of a new artist to his label, Penthauze. The latest addition to the label is Alpha P, who is set to release a highly anticipated single with Olamide titled “W” on August 23, 2024.
Penthauze, a prominent Nigerian record label led by the award-winning rapper, has previously included artists such as Runtown, Flipside, and Storm Rex in its roster. The label currently features heavyweight rapper and singer Superboy Cheque and now welcomes the talented Alpha P.
Alpha P recently impressed fans with his performance on Timaya’s album ‘Gladiator,’ where he collaborated with Phyno and Olamide.
On August 22, 2024, Phyno took to social media to share a teaser of the upcoming single and formally introduced Alpha P as the newest member of the Penthauze family.
He wrote:

In other news, Phyno has teased the release of a new album with a recent Instagram story post that reads, “Full time Job. Album on the way.” This announcement has stirred excitement among fans who are eagerly anticipating new music from the artist.
Details about the upcoming album are still under wraps, but Phyno has previously shown a commitment to delivering fresh material and collaborating with various artists. His last album, “Something To Live For,” released in 2021, featured several notable collaborations and continues to be well-regarded by fans.
