Multi-talented producer and artist Pheelz has teamed up with Afrobeats icon Tiwa Savage for a deeply reflective new single titled “I’M OK,” released under the Rii Collective umbrella as part of the build-up to his upcoming A RII SET EP.

The record marks a noticeable shift from Pheelz’s more upbeat, club-driven sound, instead leaning into a slower, more emotional Afro-soul direction that prioritises honesty and introspection over energy and danceability.
Built on a warm, stripped-back production, “I’M OK” is carried by soft keyboard progressions and understated percussion that create space for both artists to fully explore the song’s emotional weight. The minimalist arrangement ensures the focus stays firmly on the message rather than the instrumentation.
Pheelz delivers one of his most personal performances yet, blending Yoruba, Pidgin, and English as he opens up about mental strain, pressure, and the quiet battles that come with life in the public eye. His delivery feels raw and unfiltered, offering a rare glimpse into vulnerability from behind the scenes of fame.
Tiwa Savage enters with a calming, emotionally grounded presence, elevating the track with her signature warm vocals. Her performance adds a sense of reassurance and strength, turning the hook into something that feels communal rather than individual—an affirmation shared between artist and listener.
Rather than functioning as a conventional commercial release, “I’M OK” plays more like a moment of reflection. It speaks to survival, emotional endurance, and the importance of acknowledging one’s limits in a fast-paced world.
Together, both artists create a record that feels intimate and necessary, reinforcing the idea that sometimes the most powerful statement is simply admitting that you are still standing.
