In a moment of triumph, South African singer Pearl Thusi took to the stage for the very first time as a musical artist, marking a significant milestone in her career.

Overcoming the daunting specter of judgment, Thusi’s performance resonated with gratitude and excitement as she embraced the culmination of her dreams.

Reflecting on the journey, Pearl Thusi acknowledged the apprehensions that once loomed over her aspirations. “GOD’S TIMING IS PERFECT!!! DELAY IS NOT DENIAL. TRUST THE PROCESS,” she affirmed, underscoring the importance of perseverance and divine timing.

In a heartfelt post-performance reflection, Thusi expressed profound gratitude, acknowledging the internal battles that preceded her moment in the spotlight. “Was playing Imithandazo to end my set, o had to thank God for carrying me through that hour. I’ve made a dream come true,” she shared, encapsulating the essence of determination and faith.

For nearly a decade, the fear of judgement weighed heavily on Thusi’s decision to pursue her musical aspirations. Yet, in a resounding declaration of liberation, she embraced her truth and silenced the echoes of doubt. “I’m so happy because I overcame the fear of judgement, forgetting that only God has the right to judge me. I’m free,” she concluded, inspiring others to forge ahead unapologetically towards their dreams.

“Was playing Imithandazo to end my set, o had to thank God for carrying me through that hour. I’ve made a dream come true. Whether this makes sense to you or not… worry about yourself and making your dreams come true. I pray this convinces you to never give up on what you want to achieve.”

“I was always so worried about what everyone would say about this decision- for nearly a decade. Angisanandaba nezinkulumo zabantu… I practiced until I couldn’t stand anymore… I’m so happy because I overcame the fear of judgement- forgetting that only God has the right to judge me. I’m free,” she concludes.
