Veteran singer; Omawumi receives an award from the Nigerian police for good lyrics.
The “Malowa” singer took to her Instagram earlier today to celebrate this massive award.
Omawumi was presented with an honorary award by the Nigerian police for her use of quality lyrics in her songs.

Unlike many modern artists of today whose songs are all about getting rich quick and chasing clout, she sings about social justice, equity, and good conscience.
Showing appreciation, she wrote;
“Thank You @nigeriapoliceforce for this award, I’m truly humbled… ‘In a society where lyrics are constantly changing, Omawumi is unwavering in her lyrics of social justice, equity and good conscience’… Yay me!!
