Best known for his time at Manchester United, Solskjaer earned the nickname “The Baby-faced Assassin” for his clinical goal-scoring prowess, contributing to the team’s success in the Premier League, FA Cup, and UEFA Champions League. As a manager, he guided Manchester United from 2018 to 2021, further cementing his reputation in the sport.
Upon his arrival, Solskjaer expressed excitement about the opportunity:
“It’s great to be here. It’s very nice to see so many people who care about this fantastic club. I’ve had a wonderful first meeting with the board members, and I’m really looking forward to this. It’s fantastic to be in this beautiful city as well.”
Fans are eager to see how Solskjaer will adapt to Turkish football and bring his tactical acumen to Beşiktaş. With Mourinho’s Fenerbahçe also vying for dominance, the Turkish Süper Lig promises to deliver a thrilling battle between two high-profile managers.
