YBNL general, Olamide has proven to be the Greatest in Nigeria music sphere after disrupting the Najia music scene with the release of his #999EP.

The EP which has almost one million downloads in less than 25 hours on audio mack also trended on twitter with celebrities like Zlatan and others vibing to tracks from the EP on IG.

The Pawon crooner who decided to lay low in 2019 kept the Naija music audience hungry for more when he dropped the Pawon banger at the end of 2019.

Unlike M.I  Abaga who claims to be the number one rapper in the Nigerian music scene, Olamide has proven beyond empty talk that he is one of the most versatile artists from the 234.

His newly released EP shows that the YBNL general has done well and will do well in any and every recently popular genre of Nigerian Music.

Unlike his last album which he did purely hip hop and dancehall, the Bariga born artist has gone back to the style which he started with.

Olamide who started his career as a rap artist delved into the hip hop scene after claiming that ‘Rap O ja Owo mo’ has wowed his fans with his new EP release.

The street King who laid low all through the year 2019 and got fans and media raising questions as to why he did not release an album in 2019 still got his fans dancing with his Pawon single released at the close of 2019.

Olamide Skipped 2019 to Promote Fireboy DML

Being out of the music scene in 2019, a lot of fans and music lovers raised questions as to why he stayed off the music scene.

However,  unlike other musicians that love being in the spotlight at every point, Olamide might have stayed off the music scene to push Fireboy DML.

Olamide staying off the music scene attributed to the heavy attention and success enjoyed by Fireboy DML.

Olamide’s Switch from Rap to Singing  and Back to Rap

The Bariga born music tycoon who started his music career back in 2011 under coded tunes as a Rapper, did tremendously well with Rap in Rapsodi.

With the release of Local rapper, ghost mode amongst other rap tracks which held the Nigerian music audience spellbound between 2011 and 2015.

    Olamide 999 EP

The Eyan Mayweather creator who did not totally abandon Rap focused more on singing is back with 999EP.

An album that has mostly rap content and is totally different from the 2017/2018 Olamide did not disappoint.

the 999Ep has only one track that might not be classified to be a rap song.

With these few points of mine, I hope that I have been able to convince you that Olamide is the number one artist from the 234.
