Nigerian rapper and YBNL Nation boss Olamide has returned with a new single, Burukutu, accompanied by a music video directed by TG Omori.
The release also comes with confirmation of his upcoming album, Time & Space, scheduled to arrive on November 16, 2026.
The forthcoming project will mark Olamide’s 13th studio album, following his self-titled record, Olamidé, released in 2025. Although details about the album’s tracklist and featured artists remain under wraps, the new single offers fans something to enjoy while they await the full project.
Named after the traditional fermented grain drink popular in parts of Nigeria, Burukutu embraces a lively, street-inspired atmosphere.
The song opens with a party chant before Olamide takes over with his trademark Yoruba flows and rhythmic delivery, touching on hustle, enjoyment, and everyday street culture. Blaisebeatz handles the production, providing an energetic backdrop for the rapper’s performance.

TG Omori brings the record to life with a video built around two contrasting visual settings. In one sequence, Olamide appears in a glowing red corridor wearing a double-breasted suit and dark sunglasses, with his dreadlocks completing the look. Other scenes unfold in an earthy courtyard, where background dancers appear in coordinated white outfits, pillbox hats, and pearl details.
The visuals also feature Olamide playing a saxophone alongside brass musicians, adding another creative element to the video’s presentation.
With Burukutu now available, Olamide has given fans a fresh release ahead of his next album. More details about Time & Space, including its tracklist and potential collaborations, are expected as the November 16 release date approaches.
