Oladips and Dremo are two of the most talented rappers in Nigeria. No doubt. And both of ’em have risen from just upcoming artists doing stuffs underground to being big artists, who’ve had a fair level of commercial success.
Ola Dips who raps in Yoruba, was signed to Reminisce’s LRR imprint in 2016, after he won DBanj’s The King Is Here Competition. He’s gone on to release critically acclaimed songs like “Bounce,” “Champagne” feat. Lil Kesh and “Lalakukulala” featuring OG, Reminisce.
Dremo, was also signed in 2016, but to Davido Music Worldwide. He’s been under OBO’s tutelage since. He’s had singles like “Who,” “12 Bang” with Davido and “Ojere,” that have done well in the market. He was on DMW’s collective “Back 2 Back,” and he was at last year’s Hennessy Cypher.
Now the big question is, who’s the hottest at the moment ?
