Wales World Cup squad announcement with nine Premier League stars in 26-man final cut.
Wales have announced and confirmed their 26-man squad for their first World Cup appearance since 1958. With the FIFA World Cup in Qatar just a week away, all the participating nations are starting to announce their final squads for the tournament.
Wales manager Rob Page named his 26-man squad for this year’s World Cup at an event on Wednesday evening.
Head coach Rob Page has named the 32-year-old among his list of midfielders, with Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey both unsurprisingly included despite relatively little game-time this season.
Daniel James and Neco Williams are just two of the Premier League players named to Wales’ final squad for the upcoming World Cup in Qatar, where they will compete in their first World Cup since 1958.
