Odumodublvck debunks report of spending N2 million daily on smoke

Odumodublvck has shut down viral reports claiming he spends a jaw-dropping N2 million daily on smoke, which would amount to N14 million per week.
The controversy started after a video of him chatting with comedian Carter Efe went viral. In the clip, the rapper boldly claimed that his daily smoke expenses hit the N2 million mark, leaving Carter Efe stunned and calling him a “bad person” for the extravagant spending.
However, Odumodublvck has now denied the claim, taking to his official X handle to dismiss it as false. He shared a screenshot of a WhatsApp conversation with his family member, Aunty Christbo, who had sent him the report. His response? “It is not true o”—a straightforward rejection of the rumors.
His denial has sparked mixed reactions, with some fans believing the initial report was exaggerated, while others remain skeptical about whether he’s truly refuting it or just avoiding scrutiny.
Either way, the viral moment has once again put Odumodublvck in the spotlight.

In a recent interview on the ‘Afrobeats Podcast,’ Odumodublvck opened up about the crucial contributions of Afrobeats megastars Davido and Wizkid in his rise to stardom.
The rapper shared that in the early days of his mainstream career, Wizkid was the first major artist to support his music. “In Nigeria, Wizkid was the first major artist to post my music. He posted ‘Picanto’… Then after I dropped ‘Declan Rice,’ he posted the song, and there’s also a video of him vibing to it.”
Wizkid’s support brought massive attention to Odumodublvck’s music, and ‘Declan Rice,‘ named after England and Arsenal football star Declan Rice, quickly became a hit, propelling the rapper from relative obscurity to stardom.
On Davido’s role in his career, Odumodublvck expressed deep gratitude, stating that the five-time Grammy nominee helped him when he didn’t have to. “David (Davido) is someone who helped me when he didn’t need to. So there’s no way I will say anything bad about him, even if I had the chance.”
