Odumodublvck Declares Himself Nigeria’s Best Rapper, Says He Has Surpassed Olamide

Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has boldly proclaimed himself the best rapper in Nigeria, stating that he has surpassed Olamide in the hip-hop scene.
He made this assertion during a recent interview on the ‘Afrobeat Podcast‘ with Adesope.
Odumodublvck argued that while Olamide was undoubtedly the top rapper four years ago, the landscape has since shifted in his favor.
He emphasized that any artist claiming the title of Nigeria’s best rapper must have a solid body of work to back up their claim, particularly an album.
The debate over who holds the crown in Nigerian hip-hop has intensified with Odumodublvck’s comments, given Olamide’s longstanding influence on the genre.
Fans and industry insiders have continued to weigh in on the discussion, with some agreeing with the ‘Declan Rice‘ crooner’s stance and others maintaining that Olamide’s legacy remains unmatched.
Beyond his bold claims, Odumodublvck also spoke about his relationships within the industry. He revealed that he does not consider controversial online personality Speed Darlington a friend but rather sees him as his “spirit animal.”
In an intriguing revelation, the rapper shared a surreal experience about meeting Burna Boy in a dream before their actual encounter.
According to him, in the dream, he and the ‘Last Last‘ hitmaker were enjoying a meal of pounded yam together, a moment he later found symbolic when they eventually met in real life.
With his growing influence and confidence, Odumodublvck continues to make waves in the Nigerian music industry, sparking conversations and cementing his place as one of the country’s most talked-about rappers.
