Niniola steps into a deeply personal chapter with “Without You,” a four-track EP that finds the Afro-House star exploring grief, love, and remembrance in a way listeners have rarely seen from her.
The project was created in memory of her late husband and longtime manager, Michael Chiedu Ndika, who passed away in May 2026.
Instead of abandoning the energetic sound that has shaped her career, Niniola takes her emotions into familiar territory. Without You is filled with driving basslines, heavy log drums, and Amapiano-leaning rhythms, creating an unusual but effective contrast between movement and mourning.
That tension is especially clear on Pain, the project’s focus track. The song captures the shock and emotional weight of suddenly losing someone who has been part of your life for years.
