Afrobeats star Niniola Apata, better known as Niniola, has set tongues wagging online after she appeared in a new video sporting what looked like a giant baby bump.

The timing couldn’t be more ironic, as it comes shortly after the buzz around her cheeky viral anthem, “Lo Alum, Lo Condom.”
The singer, who happens to be the elder sister of fellow hitmaker Teniola Apata (Teni) has never been publicly tied to a relationship, which makes the speculation even spicier.
In the clip shared with her over 1 million Instagram followers, Niniola, often admired for her bold “area sister” persona, seemed unbothered as she proudly showed off her new figure.
But for many fans, the lyrics of her latest single “Ginger Me” came rushing back: “Lo condom, lo condom, ko ma d’oyún, ka ma gbọ́ story to touchn” which translates to “use a condom while having sex to avoid pregnancy so we won’t hear a touching story.”
The irony wasn’t lost on her audience. Some flooded her comments with congratulations, while others teased that the singer hadn’t exactly practiced the message she preached. A few of her mentees even voiced disappointment, jokingly calling her out for “breaking her own rules.”
So far, Niniola has kept mum on whether the bump signals a baby on the way or if it’s just another playful stunt from one of Afrobeats’ most daring queens.
