    Hadiza Blell is a popular Nigerian singer and songwriter currently signed to Mavins Records.

    She is born to a Sierra Leonean father, and a Nigerian mother from Kaduna State. Her first official single, “Yaro” under the umbrella of Mavins Records back in 2014, infuses Hausa and Krio dialects in honour of her Nigerian and Sierra Leonean roots.

    Temilade Openiyi was born on 11 June 1995 in Lagos, Nigeria. Born to a Nigerian mother and a British-Nigerian father, Tems’ family moved to the United Kingdom shortly after birth. Her parents divorced when she was five.
