Global rap superstar Nicki Minaj has publicly declared herself as U.S. President Donald Trump’s “number one fan,” insisting that criticism of him only fuels her support.
Speaking at the Trump Accounts Summit, Minaj threw her weight behind the initiative, which aims to provide trust funds for children. Dressed in a striking furry white coat, she told the crowd:
“I will say that I am probably the president’s number one fan, and that’s not going to change. And the hate or what people have to say, it does not affect me at all. It actually motivates me to support him more. He has a lot of force behind him and God is protecting him. Amen.”
The moment included a lighthearted touch, as Trump, who had earlier joked about growing his nails to emulate Minaj’s signature style, held her hand while she spoke.
Minaj also pledged to contribute between $150,000 and $300,000 to the Trump Accounts program, reinforcing her commitment to the initiative.
This isn’t the first time Minaj has taken a public stand on controversial issues. In November, she made a surprise appearance at the United Nations, calling for an end to faith-based persecution in Nigeria, a claim that the Trump administration had raised and which the Nigerian government officially denied.
Her outspoken support for Trump, coupled with her philanthropic commitments, has once again made headlines, highlighting the rapper’s unique blend of advocacy, celebrity influence, and personal conviction.
